Lately, everyone’s been calling AI a “bubble” and farming engagement (Andrew Sorkin, Ed Zitron, WSJ, FT, Dwarkesh Patel, etc). This echoes Tesla’s widely hated rally back in 2020. But if Tesla should have taught us anything, it’s that hate or fear is not a useful emotion for making investment decisions.

So in this post, I’ll try to provide a few balanced perspectives on whether we are in a “bubble”. Being too biased toward one camp (bullish or bearish) can be deadly in this market, because inflection points can happen at any time.
